Planting Pumpkin Seeds

Posing in the Poppy's at Poppi's ranch.
Taking a ride on Andy the Tractor

One handed planting I guess!

Aaron, the Pumpkin, planting another pumpkin.

We helped Poppi plant pumpkin seeds for his Pumpkin Patch. The boys planted one whole row. We missed Jonny. Hopefully he will get to plant a few on Wednesday. It just so happened that Aaron wore his Pumpkin costume...perfect!!! I guess he just felt like it was a pumpkin kind of a day!!

Pet Rocks

We painted pet rocks from rocks we found here at the "Ranch." They turned out cute. Aaron named his "Rocky." Now the boys won't need real pets...you're welcome.

Pizza Delievery Boys

We painted cardboard pizzas and put them in pizza boxes. It made me hungry for pizza :)

The Cat House Field Trip

Naptime
Aaron found underwear in his lunch pail and instead of eating them put them on his head. We all got a good laugh at that one.

Eating lunch on the picnic tables

Posing in front of the black Jaguar

Lazy kitties

We headed for Rosamond to the Cat House Feline Zoo. We had a great time visiting with the peacocks and all the cats. The boys also enjoyed playing in the dirt and climbing up the bleachers...who knew.

More Review Fun

Making Jets for J (not quite to scale or with any detail, but the boys liked them)
Marble painting was a hit.

Our sweet Octopuses (I like how Eli is hiding behind and all you see is his octopus).

Eli turns 5..now everyone is 5 (although Aaron told me the other day that he is almost 6...very interesting. That has been a quick year since his birthday 2 weeks ago!! :)

Birthday cupcake time.

Review

We made gorilla puppets and for some reason the boys put them on pillows and covered them with blankets on the couch for them to take naps. It was funny.

We also made alphabet hats to wear...very stylish.

Library Fieldtrip

We went to the storytime at the library and each boy got to pick out some books to borrow to read at preschool. After the library we went to the store and recycled and they got to ride the carousel ride.

Aaron's Birthday & the Memory Game

We celebrated Aaron's 5th birthday with some delicious mini cupcakes he brought and a yellow candle (it HAD to be golden , his favorite color). We finished up the alphabet and had a fun review day fishing for letters and playing a huge game of letter memory. The boys are better at memory than I am :)

Letter Q

We made queens for letter Q (although the boys all declared they were Kings, since they aren't girls). We made Quaker Oats for our food trial with Koolaid (we never did a K food) to complete our food chart and our study of the alphabet.

Un-Birthday Party

What do you do for letter U? An Un-Birthday Party of course. We made and decorated unbirthday cupcakes, played Pin the "U" on the alphabet board, played with balloons, and blew out our unbirthday candles. We delievered cupcakes to Jonny since he was home sick...it was his unbirthday too of course!
